Hi! So glad you’re here!

As a photographer, my goal and passion is to capture and preserve the beautiful moments I see in my client’s lives. I find photography to be magical. It is one of the few mediums that allow us to see, feel, and appreciate a moment for a lifetime. It is my honor to deliver this gift to my clients.

I also believe in the value of printed art. Nothing warms a home more than a beautiful display of family photographs on the walls. Throughout my own home, you’ll find images (both old and new) of my family. Every time I walk past these images, it makes me smile.

In addition to my passion for photography, I am a wife, a mother to two children, and owner of two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels (Duncan and Lulu are rescues and total velcro dogs that snore like grown men).  My days as an artist began at a young age while drawing alongside my grandfather “Poppop” in his art studio.

Besides photography, my favorite things include beaches, cooking with my husband, gardening, and hanging with friends. As long as things are growing outdoors, you will often find me tinkering with my garden out back.

My studio, MKP Photography Studio, is located in downtown La Grange, Illinois conveniently located near the Metra train line. I currently offer photographic services to the greater Chicagoland area.
