Want something quick, easy, and fun?
MKP Mini Sessions are simple by design: 30 minutes, no fuss, and your entire gallery included. Great if you're short on time or just want a fun, low-key experience. Offered seasonally, select weekends each fall.
Want a private, unhurried session built around your family?
MKP Deluxe Sessions give you 60-90 minutes, one-on-one with no other families on the schedule, and a custom location of your choosing. With more time to relax, move around, and capture the in-between moments, you get a genuinely varied, story-like shoot, plus a print credit to help you get your favorites on display. Available year-round.
Have a bigger group to capture?
MKP Extended Family Sessions are built for the whole crew: grandparents, siblings, cousins, and everyone in between. In 90 minutes, we work through every grouping so no one's relationship gets missed. Available year-round. Perfect for birthday milestone celebrations, reunions and more.

Family Mini Sessions
These aren't your ordinary mini sessions. In just 30 minutes, we move fast and have fun, and you'll walk away with your entire gallery, family shots, individual shots of the kids, and other groupings as time allows. Locations are chosen by me based on the season and weather, typically local spots around the western suburbs.

Deluxe Family Sessions
This is the full experience, for families who want more time and a session shaped entirely around them. You're the only family I'm photographing that day, so there's no clock ticking in the background. We move at your pace, with time to let everyone relax, capture the in-between moments minis just can't get to, and stop at a few different spots or groupings along the way.
Location is completely up to you: whether that's your backyard in Hinsdale or a favorite park in Oak Brook, your backyard, or a spot that actually means something to your family. And unlike minis, deluxe sessions aren't limited to a few weekends a year, so we can find a time that works for your family's schedule and the season you prefer.
Sessions run 60 to 90 minutes and include 10 final images plus a $100 print credit toward your favorites, giving you a genuinely varied gallery, candid moments, group shots, and individual portraits, not just a handful of poses. Additional images may be purchased separately.
Price starts at $750.
Modern Studio Sessions
Prefer the simplicity of a studio setting? This brings the same Deluxe Family Session experience, just indoors. You're the only family on the schedule, so there's no rushing. We'll work through a few background options, clean white, warm tan, or soft grey, along with some posing to get those classic, polished shots, then loosen things up with more playful, interactive moments along the way.
Sessions run 60 to 90 minutes and include 5 final images plus a $100 print credit toward your favorites. Additional images may be purchased separately.
Price starts at $750.
Extended Family Sessions
Got the whole crew together? Extended family sessions are built for exactly that: grandparents, siblings, cousins, everyone in one place at the same time. We move efficiently through every grouping so no one's standing around too long, and I make the most of wherever we're shooting: a family home in Hinsdale, a park in Burr Ridge, my studio or wherever everyone's already gathered.
It's less about one slow unfolding story and more about capturing every relationship in the family well, so everyone walks away with meaningful images.
Sessions run 90 minutes and include 5 final images plus a $100 print credit toward your favorites. Additional images may be purchased separately.

Yes! I regularly shoot throughout Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Wheaton, and the surrounding western suburbs. Deluxe and Extended Sessions can be held at a location of your choosing, just let me know what you have in mind.Can I purchase more than the images included in my package?
Absolutely. Deluxe and Modern Studio sessions can add images for $150 each, or unlock your full gallery for a flat $1,200. Extended sessions offer additional images through tiered packages. Just ask, and I'll walk you through the options.How long until I receive my gallery?
I generally promise galleries within 2-3 weeks of your session date. Depending on the time of year, I try to accommodate a quicker timeline if needed. Please inquire upon booking.Is a deposit required to book?
Yes, a 50% deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due upon delivery of your images. The only exception is Minis, which are due in full at the time of booking.What should we wear?
Upon booking, I'll send over a style guide to help coordinate outfits that photograph beautifully together. If you need any further guidance or have questions, I am also available over the phone or email for a quick consultation.Can pets be part of the session?
Absolutely! I love including your furry family members at your session. Please give me a heads up when booking, as I can provide suggestions to ensure a smooth experience.How will I see my images after my session?
I will be sending you a gallery link to view your images. All images are delivered via digital download.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate on my session day? I will be in touch if the weather looks questionable. Sessions are usually cancelled 3-4 hours before your scheduled time, and I'll reach out the night before if the forecast seems challenging on your session date. Regarding rescheduling, I am always very flexible. I also ask my families to remain reasonably flexible. For the many years I have been doing this, I’ve never had a problem finding an alternative date that works for both parties. Please note that sessions will only be rescheduled due to extreme wind, rain, or overly cold conditions (below 35 degrees) - all of which make beautiful imagery difficult to achieve. My goal is to deliver beautiful images to your family. All that being said, this is Chicago, so please dress accordingly for the weather! :-)What type of products can I purchase with print credits?
